Precious Rose Otto Essential Oil has been revered since ancient times. Originally produced in Persia, the oil has been known in Greece for at least 3000 years. The legendary poet, Homer, wrote of Rose Oil in his famous ‘Iliad’ about the siege of Troy.

Rose Otto is a powerful skin rejuvenator. It works especially well in facial treatments. When added to a cream or lotion, it moisturizes, tones, and soothes dry, sensitive, or mature skin. It can help reduce redness, calm inflammation, and even improve the appearance of broken capillaries. Inhaled through vapor therapy or a diffuser, Rose Otto essential oil is deeply calming and emotionally balancing. It is ideal for helping with stress, anxiety, grief, or postpartum blues. It also helps promote restful sleep and spiritual clarity, making it a favorite for meditation and emotional healing rituals.

Origin & Production

The organic rose plants used to make this oil are grown in the Kozani region of Northern Greece. The oil is extracted by steam distillation from the leaves and stems of the plants at the Vessel Distillery, near Thessaloniki.

Aroma

Bright, fresh and characteristic of rose. To create this fresh aroma, it takes over 60,000 roses (approximately 90 Kilo) to produce approximately 30 grams of rose otto essential oil. The oil is produced only from freshly harvested flowers, which are picked early in the morning to preserve their delicate aroma.
