Melissa Essential Oil From Greece 15ml

Also know as Lemon Balm or Bee Balm, Melissa has long  been recognised for it's powerful benefits. The name ‘Melissa’ was known even before what we know as the ‘ancient Greece’. In Greek, Melissa means “honeybee”, because its sweet, fresh, and citrus-like fragrance attracts bees.

Origin & Production

The Melissa is grown in the Chalkidiki region of Northern Greece, close to the Vessel Distillery. The oil is extracted by steam distillation from the aerial parts of the plant.

Usage Warning: Melissa essential oil can interact with drugs/medication (such as diabetes drugs and others). 

Do not use when pregnant. there is a risk of teratogenicity (A teratogen is an agent that can disturb the development of the embryo or foetus. Teratogens halt the pregnancy or produce a congenital malformation/birth defect).

Melissa essential oils should not be used on the skin of infants and children under 2 years of age or on those with hypersensitive/diseased/damaged skin.

Recommend maximum dermal use level for Melissa essential oils is 0.9%.
