Origin & Production

The Chamomile used to make this oil is organically grown by Vessel in the Chalkidiki region of Northern Greece. The oil is extracted by steam distillation of the flowering tops of the Chamomile plants at the Vessel Distillery in the village of Thermi.

Aroma

Although considered a medium middle note in perfumery, German Chamomile has a very strong smell that is instantly recognisable and simply beautiful in any space. This Chamomile Essential Oil has a distinctly warm herbaceous aroma with a slight sweet undertone.

German Chamomile Essential Oil is deep blue in color due to the presence of the sesquiterpene chamazulene, and is also known as Blue Chamomile Essential Oil.
