Why we use Argan Oil to make Flying Wild Reflexology Cream

At Flying Wild, we believe that the finest ingredients are key to providing exceptional mediums for your Reflexology and Massage treatments. Every Flying Wild product is designed to be a perfect treatment medium, and to be intensely nourishing and caring for your client's skin - and your precious hands! That's why we use Golden Argan Oil to make our range of Reflexology Creams.

Light and capable of deeply penetrating the skin, argan is an
excellent oil for nourishment and for supporting problem skin. The oil is notable for it's exceptionally high levels of vitamin E, squalene and carotene, and is intensely emollient and nourishing for the skin. Studies have shown the oil to be particularly beneficial for very dry skin, and is strongly anti-inflammatory, helping to calm and soothe any irritation.

Our Argan Oil is sustainably made by Women's Cooperatives in southern Morocco, empowering women and their communities. Argan Oil is produced from the kernel of the fruit of the argan tree. These trees are native to the semi-desert region of south western Morocco where the trees grow in a region called the Sous Valley covering some 3,000 square miles - a region designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

The argan kernel is harvested both by collecting fruit fallen from the argan tree and also with the help of the local goats. Argan fruit falls in July, when they are dry. Until this happens, goats are kept out of the argan woodlands. Rights to collect the fruit are controlled by law and village traditions. The goats like to climb the argan tree to consume the fruit still on the branches, the remnant fruit kernels are then collected. The kernels are then split and gently cold pressed to give the precious light golden argan kernel oil.

We hope you will love and enjoy working with our handmade creams in your beautiful treatments!

Thank you for choosing Flying Wild.
